At 5:00 a.m. on January 5, the Metropolitan Police Division 2 implemented a crime suppression operation targeting key transit hubs during the holiday season. Focused on major locations such as Mo Chit Bus Terminal 2, BTS Mo Chit, and MRT Chatuchak, Bang Sue Police Station officers arrested 21 individuals operating illegal motorcycle taxis (referred to as "Win Phi") without proper public transport licenses or using private vehicles (white license plates) for passenger services.

Most offenders operated near the Mo Chit Bus Terminal, ferrying passengers to nearby transit stations like BTS and MRT Chatuchak. During questioning, the suspects admitted to the offenses. Drug tests conducted on all 21 individuals returned negative results. Police filed charges against the suspects for operating without the required licenses and violating public transport regulations, handing them over to Bang Sue investigators for further legal proceedings.
