On January 8, the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, reported real-time air pollution data through its "Check Dust" application. In Bangkok, PM2.5 levels reached hazardous levels (red zone) across all areas, posing significant health risks, especially to the respiratory system. The highest recorded PM2.5 concentration was in the Phra Khanong district at 151.6 µg/m³.

Nationwide, central and northeastern regions faced similar hazardous PM2.5 levels, while orange zone areas, indicating moderate health impact, were observed across other parts of the country. Mae Hong Son province recorded the lowest PM2.5 level at 16.8 µg/m³.
