On December 20, Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt provided updates on the ongoing Free Health Check Caravan for 1 Million People. Thus far, the initiative has reached 726,786 participants, with the number expected to rise to 850,000 by the end of December. Governor Chadchart emphasized that annual health check-ups are a fundamental right that should be easily accessible to all citizens. These check-ups help individuals understand their health status while enabling Bangkok to gather critical health data to enhance preventive care measures.

The program offers a comprehensive range of health screenings, including:

  • Vital signs and mental health assessments
  • Diabetes and cardiovascular screenings
  • Lung X-rays
  • Electrocardiograms (EKG)
  • Blood tests

Residents can locate health check-up sites via the official health map: https://healthmap.bangkok.go.th/.

  1. Fatigue assessment
  2. Screening for pterygium and pinguecula
  3. Hearing tests
  4. Pulmonary function tests

Participants are advised to fast for at least 8 hours before testing and bring their national ID card. The program is open to everyone, regardless of their registered domicile, including non-Bangkok residents.
