Mr. Suradech Yasawat, Deputy Leader of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP), revealed his ongoing efforts in overseeing the upper northern region comprising 8 provinces as assigned by General Prawit Wongsuwan, Party Leader. The region includes Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Phrae, Mae Hong Son, and Nan, covering all 34 constituencies with 34 MPs total.

Since his appointment as Deputy Party Leader, Suradech has conducted continuous field visits. His latest visit on May 12, 2025, took him to Phayao and Chiang Rai provinces, where he met with local residents, party members, and participated in various activities including visiting Chiang Rai's senior football team and introducing prospective MP candidates. He emphasized to local party leaders the importance of grassroots outreach to promote party policies focusing on institutional protection and economic development to improve people's livelihoods.

Party Unity and New Logo: Suradech highlighted the party's emphasis on creating unity without divisions of color, gender, or age, united only by Thai identity. He explained the symbolism of the party's new logo featuring the word "Palang" (Power) in green, "Pracha" (People) in blue, and "Rath" (State) in red within a dynamic wheel with three colored stripes on a white background. The colors represent: red for people's unity and cooperation, blue for nation-religion-monarchy, green for environmental conservation and cultural preservation blended with modern technology, and white for good governance.

Growing Support: "The popularity trend for Palang Pracharath Party in the 8 upper northern provinces continues to rise due to dedicated and serious work with people as the priority," Suradech stated. He noted that quality Grade-A MPs and prospective candidates are showing interest in joining the party. He confirmed the party's commitment to selecting the best and most capable candidates for elections.

Based on preliminary assessments, if new elections are held, Suradech expressed confidence that people in the 8 northern provinces would give Palang Pracharath Party the opportunity to elect their MP candidates to serve in the House of Representatives for no fewer than 10 constituencies.

Working Philosophy: Suradech emphasized his commitment to leveraging his experience as former Phayao Senator and former MP from Pua Thai Party, along with his knowledge and capabilities, to benefit both the party and the people. He stressed adherence to the party's "Modern Conservatism" philosophy, which upholds the protection of nation-religion-monarchy institutions while preserving culture, traditions, and national values to create development that benefits and leads to positive changes aligned with contemporary transformations.
