On June 15, Mr. Asapol Sanntraipop, MP for Sisaket from the Bhumjaithai Party, posted on his personal Facebook page along with a Mahidol Poll result showing that the public most wants Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Phumtham Wechayachai to be reshuffled.

He wrote that upon returning home, many constituents and team members asked about the rumored Cabinet reshuffle. He candidly stated that, to his knowledge, there is no inside or deep source confirming the reshuffle. He mentioned ongoing reports suggesting the Bhumjaithai Party leader may be moved to another ministry from the Interior Ministry—a rumor he has heard for nearly a month. Initially, he was intrigued, but over time, he became indifferent as the party leader clarified to MPs that the Prime Minister has not called for any discussion on the matter.

He suggested that the daily rumors may stem from groups pushing for a reshuffle, though such speculation brings little benefit. Personally, he believes that if a Cabinet reshuffle is to occur, it should aim to improve the government's performance and address public issues more effectively—especially the economic challenges affecting all groups of people. If changes lead to better governance, the public would appreciate it.

He ended by asking constituents: "What do you think? If there's a chance to reshuffle the Cabinet, which ministry should be changed the most? Feel free to share your thoughts—I’ll read every comment like always.”
