At 9:05 AM on June 17 at Government House, Mr. Aeknath Promphan, Minister of Industry and Secretary-General of the United Thai Nation Party (Ruam Thai Sang Chart - RTSC), addressed the current status of the Cabinet reshuffle concerning his party. He stated that nothing has changed and everything remains as before.
When asked about Deputy Commerce Minister Suchart Chomklin, who recently formed the “Group of 18” within the party, raising questions about internal unity, Aeknath responded curtly, “I don’t want to talk about this anymore. I’ve already said all that needs to be said.”
Pressed further on whether such dynamics could persist within the party, Aeknath smiled and replied, “It is what it is,” before excusing himself to attend the Cabinet meeting, which included an agenda on sugarcane and sugar policy. He then proceeded to Command Building 2.
