On June 21, Anusorn Eiamsa-ard, a list MP from the Pheu Thai Party, commented on the recent political shift, affirming that all former coalition parties—except Bhumjaithai—remain committed to supporting Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s administration.
He emphasized that Thailand must move forward and cannot wait amid ongoing national crises. He expressed confidence that the government can turn these challenges into opportunities across all areas—security, economy, and politics. The departure of Bhumjaithai, he noted, is not a setback. PM Paetongtarn is expected to skillfully reorganize the cabinet with capable professionals to drive achievements during the government’s remaining two years.
Anusorn added that the exit of Bhumjaithai ministers could pave the way for fresh perspectives and new governance approaches. He believes this is an opportunity for PM Paetongtarn to accelerate and enhance the administration's performance ahead of the 2027 general election.
He urged the public to have faith in the government, stating that while coalition support is important, the quality of leadership and outcomes matters more than numbers. The loss of Bhumjaithai's support can be compensated through stronger performance and dedication to steering the nation out of crisis.
