At 4:10 PM on June 10 at Government House, Mr. Prakromsak Chunhawan, advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Pirapan Salirathavibhaga and treasurer of the United Thai Nation Party (UTN), addressed the matter of 21 UTN MPs signing a letter to the Prime Minister requesting a reshuffle of ministers under the party’s quota. He said that his visit with Mr. Pirapan today was to discuss general matters and there was nothing significant.

When asked about rumors that Mr. Pirapan would call a party executive committee meeting to discuss Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Deputy Party Leader, Mr. Prakromsak responded that there was no such meeting, and things were still quiet. He added that the party remains orderly, despite some differing voices, and everything depends on the party leader.

When asked about Mr. Pirapan’s morale, Mr. Prakromsak said that Mr. Pirapan’s spirits remain strong, adding, "Dharma triumphs over evil."

Asked whether any MPs would show support for Mr. Pirapan, Mr. Prakromsak noted that some had expressed support on Facebook, but he personally does not involve himself much in politics and only assists Mr. Pirapan with policy and government work.
