On June 3, a source from the Bhumjaithai Party revealed that key figures from the Pheu Thai Party had reached out to Bhumjaithai leaders to discuss a potential cabinet reshuffle. However, Bhumjaithai Party leaders confirmed they currently have no intention of reshuffling ministers under their party’s quota.

They stated that if the reshuffle is at the Prime Minister’s request to enhance public confidence in the government’s effectiveness in solving problems, it should be a comprehensive overhaul. This would allow the Prime Minister and all coalition parties to replace ministers or reassign ministries in alignment with their core policy goals, through open and straightforward discussions for the public's benefit.

Bhumjaithai executives emphasized that the government is facing multiple national crises—an economic slowdown, the drug epidemic, and security tensions along the Cambodian and Myanmar borders. These issues should be addressed first rather than exacerbated by internal political disputes.

They cautioned that any reshuffle must not serve to resolve political tensions within the coalition or gain electoral advantages, which would benefit political parties over the public.

Pheu Thai’s liaison reportedly agreed to relay Bhumjaithai’s stance to the Prime Minister. It is expected that the Prime Minister will invite coalition leaders for talks to finalize decisions on the cabinet reshuffle within this month.
