A social media plea for help has gone viral on Weibo after a woman reported that her boyfriend, "Xing Xing," disappeared at the Thai-Myanmar border on January 3. Xing Xing had traveled to Thailand for work but lost contact after arriving in the country.

According to the post, Xing Xing accepted a job through a casting group and coordinated via WeChat with a project representative. He departed from Pudong Airport in Shanghai and landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on January 3 at 4:00 a.m. Beijing time. After his arrival, he was picked up by a van claiming to be from the production team, but contact was lost near the Thai-Myanmar border.

In the past three days, Xing Xing’s girlfriend and his younger brother have tried multiple avenues to locate him, but progress has been limited. As a result, the woman turned to social media to amplify her appeal for assistance.

She stated that she has already filed a report with Shanghai police and the Chinese Embassy in Thailand and plans to travel to Thailand to file a formal report with local authorities.

Xing Xing is known for his roles in several Chinese dramas, including Fox Fairy Little Red, where he played a shepherd and bar owner. His other works include The Story of Rose, Crime Hunting Guide 2, and The Female Psychologist.
