On the morning of December 13, members of the Pheu Thai Party (PTP) gathered at Hua Lamphong Station for a special train ride to Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, as part of a two-day seminar aimed at enhancing the capabilities of MPs and political staff. Attendees included senior ministers, MPs, and key party figures such as Deputy Prime Ministers Phumtham Wechayachai and Suriya Juangroongruangkit, along with other cabinet members and party leaders.

Former Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin joined the event at 7:15 AM, greeting party members warmly. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra arrived later at 8:00 AM, accompanied by her family, including her husband, siblings, and nieces and nephews.

Before departure, Suriya briefed the group on advancements in rail infrastructure and its role in improving public transportation and quality of life, aligning with the government's vision. Paetongtarn expressed excitement, sharing her nostalgia for train travel after 20 years and enthusiasm for showcasing the potential of Thailand’s rail network.

The group departed Hua Lamphong at 8:30 AM and planned to pick up former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra at Bang Bamru Station en route to Hua Hin.
