Continuous heavy rainfall on November 27 caused flooding in several areas of Songkhla Province, particularly along the Kanjanavanich Road (Hat Yai-Songkhla Old Route), a major route connecting Hat Yai and Songkhla City.

The 8th Regional Water Resources Office reported that eight districts in Songkhla, including Hat Yai, Na Mom, Mueang Songkhla, Saba Yoi, Thepha, Chana, Na Thawi, and Sadao, experienced over 100 mm of rainfall within 12 hours. The ongoing rain has heightened the risk of flash floods and overflowing waterways.

A Facebook user shared alarming images of flooding in Lae Baeng Village, Saba Yoi District. Water levels have nearly submerged the ground floors of homes and reached halfway up utility poles. The flooding has persisted for two days and is expected to worsen as water levels continue to rise.
