Authorities in Trang Province, Thailand, are facing severe weather conditions as continuous heavy rainfall has heightened the risk of flash floods, overflowing forest runoff, and landslides. These threats are particularly significant in areas near mountains and rivers.

Governor Songklot Sawangwong has issued a public warning effective from November 27 to December 4, urging residents to stay vigilant and follow official guidelines strictly. Out of Trang's 10 districts, six are identified as high-risk zones: Mueang Trang, Wang Wiset, Yan Ta Khao, Huai Yot, Nayong, and Palian.

In preparation, local agencies have enhanced monitoring systems, activated emergency response plans, and inspected the structural integrity of buildings and flood defenses. Residents in vulnerable areas are advised to stay informed through official channels and prepare for possible evacuation. Travelers are urged to avoid flooded routes, while tourism operators are instructed to warn visitors and suspend activities in hazardous locations.
