On June 9 at Parliament, Ms. Nan Boonthida Somchai, MP for Ubon Ratchathani from the Bhumjaithai Party and spokesperson for the special House committee reviewing the 2026 fiscal budget bill, reported the outcomes of the committee’s first meeting.
The committee elected Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Pichai Chunhawachira as chair. A total of 18 deputy chairs were appointed, along with 9 secretaries and 8 spokespersons.
The 18 deputy chairs include:
- Julphan Amornwiwat (Deputy Finance Minister)
- Monporn Charoensri (Deputy Transport Minister)
- Chada Thaiset (Bhumjaithai MP, Uthai Thani)
- Jakkrapong Saengmanee (Advisor to the PM)

The 8 spokespersons include members from multiple parties such as:
