On May 20, reporters in Chonburi province reported that local residents were shocked after discovering numerous spent shell casings from various types of military-grade firearms scattered across the road between Noen Hin and Nong Hiang in Phanat Nikhom District.
Authorities, including local police and rescue teams, were called in to clear the area. They collected the casings into two large sacks to remove them from the road for safety.
As of now, authorities have not determined the origin of the shell casings or who may have dumped them.
