On November 4, 2024, Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem, the President of Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, announced the "Chonburi Coffee on the Beach 2024" event. Scheduled for November 22–24 at Pattaya Central Beach, this annual festival aims to boost tourism and support local businesses in Chonburi, with a focus on new lifestyle tourism and sustainable growth for local cafes and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The event will feature six distinct zones, including a Cafe Hopping area with 45 cafes, a Food & Beverages section offering non-coffee options, a Workshop & Edutainment zone with coffee demonstrations, a Handicraft Shops zone for local products, a Stage for live performances, and a Resting Area by the beach.
Special demonstrations include extraction design techniques by Kritnai Kongtanarak, the 2025 Thailand National Brewers Cup Champion, and a unique Volcano Tiramisu demonstration by Chachaya Kaewkanjanalai of Mistletoe Flour & Thyme. Coffee experts and influencers such as Future Kittipob Engchuan, 2025 Thailand National Barista Champion, and Piyachart Traithaworn from Gallery Drip Coffee, will share insights on coffee-making techniques.
Event highlights also include a unique "Experience Zone by Sansiri" with champion-level coffee tastings free of charge, emphasizing sustainability by promoting recycling and discounts for those who bring personal cups. Several championships, such as the CBC King of Coffee Championship and the Coffee on the Beach Latte Art Smackdown, with prizes totaling over 85,000 baht, will take place as well. Additionally, on November 23 at 5:00 p.m., the "Nanglen Band" concert will bring live music to festival-goers.
