On December 31, large crowds of locals, tourists, and visitors from neighboring provinces assembled at the Kan Rattana Phisek Lighthouse area and nearby viewpoints at Promthep Cape in Rawai, Phuket. The location, famed as one of Thailand’s most stunning sunset spots and ranked among the top 10 in the world, offered the last glimpse of the sun setting over the Andaman Sea for 2024.
Attendees eagerly anticipated breathtaking views of the golden sunlight reflecting off the sea. However, by 6:20 p.m., cloud cover partially obscured the sunset, leaving some visitors slightly disappointed. Despite this, many expressed satisfaction, having witnessed a clear view of the sun earlier in the evening.
Promthep Cape remains a cherished destination for its unrivaled natural beauty and panoramic vistas, drawing both domestic and international visitors to mark special moments like the year's end.
