A 52-year-old Singaporean tourist, identified as Mr. Lee, was pronounced dead at Patong Hospital on December 7, 2024, at 11:05 PM. Local police in Patong were notified and proceeded to investigate the case.
Upon examination in the hospital's emergency room, Mr. Lee's body was found without visible injuries. Medical staff confirmed they had retrieved him from a massage parlor in the Patong Beach area, Kathu District, Phuket, where he had collapsed. Despite efforts to revive him, he passed away shortly after arrival at the hospital.
Authorities, in collaboration with the hospital, will conduct an autopsy to determine the precise cause of death. The Singaporean Embassy has been contacted to inform the deceased’s family and facilitate religious or legal proceedings.
