The section from Bang Pa-In Interchange to Kilometer Markers 17-18 in Khlong Suan Phlu, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, saw vehicles filling all lanes. Drivers maintained speeds of 80-100 km/h, with slowdowns near the Ayutthaya city exit, Ayutthaya Interchange ramps, and access points to gas stations.
On Phahonyothin Road heading towards northeastern provinces, traffic volumes also rose near Wang Noi District, specifically from Wang Noi Market to the Wang Noi Interchange and Bua Chom Curve. While vehicles could maintain speeds between 80-100 km/h, a further increase in travel activity is expected throughout the day as people begin their New Year holiday journeys back to their hometowns.
