Deputy PM Phumtham Responds to Jatuporn–Sondhi Alliance: "No Concern, Just Follow the Law"

At 5:20 PM on May 25 at Wing 6, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Phumtham Wechayachai addressed the recent development involving Mr. Jatuporn Prompan, former UDD leader and current speaker of the “People's Unification Group,” who appeared on the “Truth Is One” stage and declared a collaboration with Mr. Sondhi Limthongkul, host of “Sondhi Talk.”

When asked if he was concerned this alliance could lead to movements opposing the government, Phumtham responded, “I’m not aware of it, and I don’t think it’s an issue. Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and actions, as long as they operate within the law. We are performing our duties to the fullest. The government is working, and we are open to listening.”
