The Thai national football team returned to Don Mueang Airport on December 9, 2024, following their dominant 10-0 victory over Timor-Leste in their opening match of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024. The Group A match took place at Hang Day Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam, on December 8.
Upon arrival, the team immediately resumed training at BG Training Center, Pathum Thani, to prepare for their next Group A match against Malaysia. The game is scheduled to take place at Rajamangala National Stadium, Huamark, on December 14 at 8:00 PM.
