The Badminton World Federation (BWF) announced the latest weekly world rankings for badminton players on June 10. Thai shuttler Kunlavut Vitidsarn continues to hold the world's number 1 position in men's singles with 97,179 points.
In women's singles, Pornpawee Chochuwong moved up one spot to become world number 7, while Supanida Katethong and Ratchanok Intanon maintained their positions at world number 9 and 10 respectively.
In mixed doubles, the pair of Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Supissara Paewsampran climbed from world number 6 to world number 5 this week, following their runner-up finish at the Kapal API Indonesia Open 2025 Super 1000 tournament in Jakarta, Indonesia (June 3-8). This achievement increased their accumulated points to 79,895.
The "Bass-Fem" partnership began in October 2024, starting from world ranking 307. They have since won five titles together: Japan Masters, Syed Modi International, Malaysia Open, Thailand Masters, and Singapore Open.
