On December 2, the first group of players reported to Masatada Ishii, the Japanese head coach of the Thailand national football team, at the Novotel Rangsit. The team immediately commenced evening training at BG Training Center under closed-door conditions, with no media access permitted.

Reports indicate that only nine players attended the first day of camp: Korakot Pipatnadda (Rayong), James Berresford (Uthai Thani), Thitathorn Aksornsri (Uthai Thani), Saringkan Promsupa, Benjamin Davis (Uthai Thani), William Weiderjoe (Uthai Thani), Anan Yodsangwal (Lampang), Akrapong Poomwiset (Lampang), and Patrik Gustavsson (BG Pathum United).

Nicholas Mickelson is scheduled to join the camp on December 3 after traveling from Denmark, with Suphanat Mueanta and players from True Bangkok United, Port FC, Ratchaburi, and Buriram United expected to report later, following club commitments.

When asked about the staggered arrivals, Ishii refrained from specifying timelines, acknowledging that assembling the full squad of 26 players would take some time. He also confirmed that the roster would not be complete for the first match against Timor-Leste.

The gradual buildup reflects logistical challenges but underscores the team’s commitment to preparing thoroughly for the upcoming matches.
