Supachok Sarachat, midfielder for the Thai national football team and Consadole Sapporo in Japan's J.League, shared his excitement about playing alongside his younger brother, Suphanat Mueanta, in the upcoming AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024. Supachok, who previously won the AFF Championship in 2020, expressed his determination to claim the title again—this time with his brother as a teammate.
To prepare for the tournament, Supachok has been diligently maintaining his physical condition and focusing on injury prevention. He will join the national team after completing his club commitments, with Consadole Sapporo's season concluding on December 8. Notably, Sapporo has already been relegated to J.League 2 for the next season.
Thailand’s national team will play their opening match against Timor-Leste on December 8 at the Hang Day Stadium in Vietnam. Supachok is expected to make his first appearance in the second match against Malaysia on December 14 at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.
Supachok and Suphanat are siblings from a family of three. Supachok uses their mother’s surname, Sarachat, while Suphanat and their younger brother, Chotika, use their father’s surname, Mueanta.
