On June 18, 2025, at the Ministry of Interior, reporters observed noticeable activity following Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul’s public refusal to relinquish control of the ministry to the Pheu Thai Party.
In the afternoon, officials from the Volunteer Defense Corps (OrSor) were seen carrying cardboard boxes upstairs to the second floor, where Anutin’s office is located. When asked by reporters if the boxes were for packing his belongings, the officials declined to answer but smiled in response.
According to ministry staff, Anutin’s office personnel had begun packing and organizing items since the morning, with some items already being moved out by the afternoon.
