At 11:30 AM on May 27, at Government House, Deputy Commerce Minister Suchart Chomklin spoke about the progress of a defamation lawsuit against MP Rakchanok Srinork (Bangkok) and MP Sahasawat Khumkong (Chonburi), both from the People’s Party. The lawsuit concerns defamatory remarks made about the Social Security Office's purchase of the SKYY9 building for 7 billion baht during Suchart’s tenure as Labor Minister.

Suchart explained that he appeared in court personally to testify and ensure the facts were fully presented. While scrutiny is acceptable in a democratic system, he stressed that these accusations went beyond fair questioning and warranted legal adjudication for justice.

When asked whether reconciliation was possible, he said the issue had passed the point of discussion. MPs can request documents and investigate through official channels, but the public accusations made against him were unacceptable.

Responding to Rakchanok’s social media post stating she "eats papaya salad without taking kickbacks," Suchart said everything will be proven in court. He emphasized that he respects all politicians except her, whom he accused of dishonorable behavior. He criticized her for using inappropriate language and showing disrespect to civil servants, suggesting she should reflect on her actions.
