On May 22, Ms. Kasenakorn Pojanavarapong, a subcommittee member for Public Relations and Stakeholder Engagement at the Social Security Office (SSO), revealed that despite a clear public pushback, the agency will continue producing annual calendars using the already-approved 2025 budget.

According to a recent survey, 62% of insured employees and 66% of employers expressed their desire to cancel the calendar project, citing inefficiency and wasteful spending. However, SSO leadership asserted that the calendar remains essential for public relations and refused to reduce the volume or halt production.

Subcommittee members were blocked from voting on the issue as the agenda item was labeled "for information only." Critics, including the Progressive Social Security Team, vowed to escalate the matter to the full Social Security Board, condemning the move as unaccountable and dismissive of stakeholder voices.
