Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has admitted that she was unable to submit her asset declaration to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) on time, citing the need to review a large volume of documents.

She also addressed questions regarding the transfer of shares in 16 companies, stating that all actions have been conducted in accordance with legal requirements. Her husband and sister have also reviewed this matter, comparing relevant legal provisions.

According to the law, public officials must declare their assets and liabilities within 60 days of taking office. However, in cases where an official is unable to meet this deadline, they may request an extension by submitting a written request to the NACC, outlining the reasons and necessity. The extension, if granted, cannot exceed 30 additional days.
