On June 19 at the Royal Thai Army Headquarters, Major General Winthai Suvaree, the Army Spokesperson, stated that due to the current situation—marked by widespread and varied information and opinions impacting society—the Army Commander-in-Chief, General Phana Klaewplodthuk, has expressed concern over the state of the nation.

He urged the Thai people to maintain confidence in the Royal Thai Army, which stands firmly in support of the democratic system with the King as Head of State, and is committed to defending national sovereignty to the best of its ability within the existing mechanisms.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that, upon comprehensive consideration, the most crucial matter at this time is that “Thais must unite” to protect the nation's sovereignty from ill-intentioned actors, prioritizing the national interest above all.
