Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul appointed a special committee to investigate the Social Security Office (SSO) over its purchase of the SKYY9 building. The property, worth approximately 3 billion baht, was reportedly bought for 7 billion baht. The audit was chaired by Interior Ministry permanent secretary Arsit Sumpandarat.

The committee has completed its findings, concluding that the market value of the SKYY9 building at the time of purchase should have been between 3.43 to 3.86 billion baht, well below the amount paid.

As of June 12, Labor Minister Pipat Ratchakitprakarn received the official audit report. However, he is currently on an official overseas trip and has requested time to review the details. He plans to convene a meeting with relevant executives and affiliated agency representatives to determine the next steps. An official statement outlining the course of action is expected as early as June 13, 2025.
