On May 29, the Policy Board of the Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS) announced the selection of Mr. Wanchai Tantivitayapitak as the new Director of Thai PBS. The decision followed the final round of candidate evaluations conducted on Thursday, May 25, 2025.
Wanchai will be invited to negotiate contract terms prior to the official appointment. The board will finalize the appointment upon successful agreement.
If Wanchai is unable to assume the position, the board will consider other finalists based on suitability. The announcement was formally made on May 29, 2025.
