On March 7, Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, announced via a livestream the appointment of Futoshi Ikeda as the new head coach for the Thai Women’s National Football Team. Ikeda, a former head coach of Japan's women's national team, is set to lead Thailand's senior women's squad. An official contract signing and unveiling ceremony will take place soon.
