On December 18, 20 former MPs of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP), who were expelled last week, officially joined the Kla Tham Party, led by Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Narumon Pinyosinwat. Earlier that morning, MP Pakpoom Boonpramuk from Tak province participated in a parliamentary session as a Kla Tham Party member. This group of MPs, including Captain Thammanat Prompao, has increased the party's representation to 24 members.
On December 19 at 11:00 AM, Captain Thammanat and the group will hold a press conference at Parliament to formally announce their membership with the Kla Tham Party.
Following the announcement, the party will convene a general assembly to restructure its executive board. Narumon Pinyosinwat will remain the party leader, Captain Thammanat will assume the role of Chief Advisor, Phai Lik from Kamphaeng Phet will serve as Secretary-General, and Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn from Chachoengsao will become the party’s Treasurer.
