The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced on December 11 the host countries for the 2030 and 2034 World Cups. For the 2030 tournament, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco will serve as co-hosts. Additionally, the opening three matches will take place in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup. Saudi Arabia has been confirmed as the sole host for the 2034 World Cup.

The decision was made through a vote involving all 211 FIFA member nations, conducted via video conference. Unlike previous bids, the selection process for 2030 and 2034 involved a straightforward approval of the proposed hosts without competition.

The 2026 World Cup, scheduled to be the first to feature 48 teams, will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
