At 10:30 AM on December 2, Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People’s Party (PPC) and a party-list MP, addressed remarks made by Pheu Thai Party (PTP) MP Dr. Cherdchai Tantisirin, who warned Bhumjaithai Party (BJT) of potential parliamentary dissolution over disagreements regarding referendum criteria for constitutional amendments. Nattapong noted that while the opposition has been fully committed to pushing for constitutional changes, any internal disputes within the government coalition that might lead to a dissolution of parliament are matters for the government parties to resolve.

When asked if a parliament dissolution is likely, Nattapong declined to speculate, stating it is an internal matter for the coalition. However, he affirmed that the People’s Party is fully prepared for an election, should it occur. "Every political party, including ours, must be ready for elections at all times. We are always prepared to present new policies to the public," he said.

Nattapong’s comments reflect the mounting tensions within the government coalition and the readiness of opposition parties to capitalize on any political fallout. The potential for a parliament dissolution underscores the volatile nature of Thailand’s current political climate.
