On June 13, at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) office, Ms. Rakchanok Srinork, Bangkok MP from the People’s Party, responded to comments made by Labour Minister Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, who stated that the production of social security calendars must continue as it reflects a democratic society where even minority voices matter.
Ms. Rakchanok remarked that if all voices, not just the majority, must be heard, then she proposes a compromise by reducing the production volume by 50% each year.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sahasawat Khumkhong, Chonburi MP from the People’s Party, noted that since surveys show only 30% of insured individuals want the calendar, production should be cut to 30% of the current volume and then gradually phased down.
