On November 27, Saree Senbat, the stationmaster of Sungai Kolok Railway Station, announced the suspension of train services due to flooding and soil erosion under the railway tracks between Raman and Mai Kaen stations at kilometer marker 1055/3-4. Approximately 25 meters of railway track were damaged. Inspections by the Tanyong Mat track maintenance unit estimate repairs will be completed within 1-2 days.
All train services departing from Sungai Kolok, both northbound and southbound, are canceled for the day. Local trains will now begin and terminate at Yala Railway Station. Passengers holding tickets for express or rapid trains on the Sungai Kolok-Bangkok Apiwat route can either travel to Hat Yai Junction Station on their own to board trains or receive a full refund at nearby stations.
