On November 17, the mixed doubles final of the Masters Japan 2024 (a World Tour Super 500 event) showcased an intense match between Thailand's Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Supissara Paewsampran and France's Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue, ranked 22nd in the world.
The Thai pair took the first game 21-16, but the French duo rallied back to claim the second game 10-21. In the decisive third game, Gicquel and Delrue started strong, but the Thai team demonstrated excellent strategy and resilience, turning the match around in the closing moments to secure victory 21-17.
