Tourists flocked to Khao Yai National Park on November 2, drawn by the cooler weather and natural beauty accessible via Nern Hom Gate in Prachinburi and the Khao Yai Shrine Gate in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima. According to Park Chief Chaiya Huayhongthong, visitors were treated to a rare and memorable sight of wild elephants in two key areas.

In the afternoon, over 25 elephants, including adorable baby elephants, were spotted grazing at Thung Kwian. These elephants delighted tourists by crossing the road, offering an up-close view of their behavior. Another group of elephants was observed near the Sai Sorn Reservoir, a short distance from the park’s headquarters.

To ensure safety and minimize disturbance to the elephants, the park has implemented stricter regulations. Visitors and staff are required to maintain a distance of at least 50 meters from the animals. Park officials have also been instructed to enforce these measures rigorously to prioritize safety and protect the wildlife.
