On June 16, reporters disclosed that the Subcommittee on Central Investigation and Inquiry (Set 26) has resolved to issue summonses to approximately 20 individuals involved in the alleged Senate election collusion case. The summonses have been issued gradually since June 13.
Those who have already received summonses from the Election Commission include:
- Newin Chidchob
- Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party
- Pradorn Prisananantakul, MP for Ang Thong and Deputy House Speaker
- Chaiyanon Chidchob, Secretary-General of Bhumjaithai Party
- Karavee Prisananantakul, MP for Ang Thong
- Siripong Angkasakulkiat, former MP for Sisaket and Assistant to the Minister of Education
- Thanayot Thimsuwan (Ong), MP for Loei and son of the Provincial Administrative Organization president
- Jeset Thaiseth, MP for Uthai Thani and son of former Deputy Agriculture Minister Mananya Thaiseth
- Boonthida Somchai (Nan), MP for Ubon Ratchathani and Bhumjaithai Party spokesperson
- Warasit Liangprasert, son of Somkiat Liangprasert (Ko Kiat) from Satun
These individuals are entitled to present explanations and counter the allegations. The inquiry committee will later decide whether the evidence is sufficient to submit the case to the Supreme Court's Election Division.
