On June 14, 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, Miss World 2025, returned to Thailand via Thai Airways flight TG603 after completing her duties in India. She was warmly welcomed at Suvarnabhumi Airport by pageant fans dressed in blue-themed fashion in honor of her historic win—the first Miss World crown for Thailand in 72 years.

The grand reception, titled “Home Coming 72nd Miss World 2025,” was organized by The Mall Group in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Tero Entertainment, and TPN GLOBAL. Dignitaries present included TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Miss World Organization Chair Julia Morley, Tero’s Brian L. Marcar, The Mall Group Chair Supaluck Umpujh, TPN’s Piyaporn Sankosik, and Thai Airways' executive Korrakot Chatasingh, along with past Thai beauty queens and media personalities.

On behalf of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, a royal floral bouquet was presented to Opal by Her Royal Highness’s representative, Ms. Rattiros Julachart, as a gesture of congratulations. Opal paid homage to portraits of His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Queen, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari before receiving the bouquet.

During the ceremony, emceed by BuaBucha Punnanan from Channel 7HD and Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam, Opal shared an emotional speech expressing gratitude to her family, supporters, media, and fans. She emphasized that the Miss World crown is not hers alone but belongs to all Thais, describing the hope and love from the people as her “power,” not pressure.

She humorously mentioned her craving for Thai foods like mango sticky rice, boat noodles, and som tam after spending a month and a half in India, and noted how thrilled she was to fulfill her childhood dream.

Opal affirmed her commitment to using her title to raise awareness for breast cancer and to support women globally, declaring that her mission is not just about helping others but also about creating personal and societal value. “This crown is our shared pride,” she said.

Julia Morley praised Thailand’s passion for pageantry and stated that Opal will serve as a powerful bridge connecting global causes with Thailand. “We chose Opal because she is authentic, driven, and ready to inspire women worldwide,” Morley said.

Following the airport event, Opal rode in a black Rolls-Royce convertible supported by Millennium Auto in a celebratory parade from the Planetarium through Sukhumvit Road, ending at the EM District. The parade included a marching band, a floral float carrying Opal, and vehicles featuring Julia Morley, Brian L. Marcar, Supaluck Umpujh, Piyaporn Sankosik, and fellow beauty queens—marking a monumental moment in Thai pageant history.
