At 9:30 a.m. on June 13, Phuket International Airport (HKT) received an alert from the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand that the pilot of Air India Flight AI 379, traveling from Phuket to Delhi with 156 passengers onboard, reported a bomb threat found during flight.
The flight requested an emergency landing at Phuket Airport. In response, airport authorities immediately activated Chapter 3 of the Airport Contingency Plan (ACP), specifically addressing bomb threats, following established safety procedures.
