On June 10, Capt. Dr. Thanakrit Jitareerattana, Assistant Minister of Public Health, along with Pol. Gen. Suchart Thirasawat, former Deputy National Police Chief and Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Drug Committee, Ministry of Public Health, led officials from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Health Service Support, and the Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB).

The team, headed by Pol. Col. Surapong Chatsut, Deputy Commander of NSB Division 1, conducted a search at Chalermlap Police Flats—central police accommodations—Building 10, 2nd Floor, Room No. 31/268, Soi Phetchaburi 6, Samsen Nai, Phaya Thai District, Bangkok.

Dr. Witit Sritijayakul, Deputy Secretary-General of the FDA, had earlier reported irregularities in the ordering of Alprazolam, a controlled substance classified as Category 2 and 4—commonly known as a sleeping pill or "date rape drug"—which can only be prescribed by a licensed physician.

The room searched reportedly belonged to Pol. Col. Dr. Anchulee Petchrat, also known as "Dr. Air." A male caretaker was arrested, and numerous boxes of drugs were seized from the premises.

According to reports, the raid led to the arrest of four suspects in total, including Dr. Air, who was apprehended at her residence.

Initial investigations indicate that 11 clinics, owned by multiple parties, may be involved. Authorities will verify whether other doctors or nurses are implicated. Further searches of all clinics are scheduled for June 11, and detailed findings will be announced at the NSB headquarters.
