On May 30, the suspect in the shocking mass shooting incident in Uthong District, Suphan Buri, which left three of his relatives dead and one injured, surrendered to police. The victims—Ms. Chatarat (51), Mrs. Rampoei (70), and Mr. Somphat (67)—were the suspect's aunt, uncle, and another close relative.

The perpetrator, identified as “Bas,” turned himself in to officers from the Suphan Buri Provincial Investigation Division. His surrender was facilitated through Praving Jaiboon, the village chief of Ban Don subdistrict. Senior officers, including the head of Provincial Police Region 7 and the investigative unit of Suphan Buri, escorted Bas from the Ban Don Municipality area to Saraiyai Som Police Station for questioning.

At the station, Bas appeared visibly tense and refused to speak as the investigation began under heavy media presence. Pol. Maj. Gen. Watcharin Prasopdee, commander of Suphan Buri Provincial Police, is personally leading the interrogation to uncover the motive behind the brutal killings.
