After Foodpanda ceased operations on May 23, 2025, in Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan—where it had been the sole food delivery provider—LINE MAN stepped in to fill the gap, helping local users, restaurants, and riders maintain their livelihoods.

Previously, LINE MAN had only served tourism-focused areas like Hua Hin and Pranburi. Recognizing the service vacuum left in the provincial capital, LINE MAN promptly launched operations in Mueang District at the end of May.

The area has nearly 100 active riders and around 200 restaurants, contributing significantly to the local economy. According to Isriya Paireepairit, VP of Public Affairs at LINE MAN Wongnai, this expansion was a direct response to Foodpanda's shutdown and the urgent need for continuity in the food delivery ecosystem.

Rider Surachot Sangkaew, a former mine worker turned full-time rider, shared how the shutdown initially felt like a devastating loss. However, his quick coordination with other riders and LINE MAN’s rapid response turned despair into hope. “It felt like seeing light at the end of a tunnel,” he said.

Restaurant owner Chrayumphorn Oaiam, who operates several food establishments including some without physical storefronts, emphasized that food delivery is vital for their survival. LINE MAN’s swift entry ensured continued sales and customer access.

Looking ahead, LINE MAN plans to expand its food delivery service to additional local areas to minimize economic disruption and strengthen grassroots business ecosystems.
