On May 27, the Thailand Taxi Network issued a nationwide announcement inviting all provincial taxi networks to gather on May 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
The purpose of the gathering is to listen to a central broadcast from the Ministry of Transport in Bangkok, where the Transport Minister, the Director-General of the Department of Land Transport, and representatives from Airports of Thailand will clarify whether allowing the Grab application to set up designated stations and booths at airports nationwide is legally compliant and officially approved.
The network invited taxi drivers in every province to assemble simultaneously at their respective provincial transport offices to await the live update from the national headquarters of the Thailand Taxi Network.
