On May 24, it was reported that numerous users had commented on the SCB Thailand Facebook page, complaining they were unable to perform any financial transactions via the SCB EASY mobile application. Despite being able to access the app, various services were not functioning properly.

Several users shared their frustration, noting the disruption came at inconvenient times. Some comments included: “I’m at a restaurant and can’t pay for my meal,” “Tried to make a purchase but the app won’t open,” “Crashed again—always during checkout,” “What’s going on?” “Hurry, the gas station attendant is staring,” “When will it be fixed?” “App won’t open, I need to transfer money to the company, can’t leave the event,” and “I’ve already ordered food—how do I pay now?”

In response, SCB’s official page acknowledged the issue, stating:
“For those unable to access SCB EASY App, the bank is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
They also advised users to “try again later” and thanked customers for their patience and valuable feedback to improve service.

As of 9:10 PM, it was reported that the app services had been fully restored.
