On May 22, the Facebook page “BMTA พร้อมบวก” announced that the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) will permanently discontinue Bus Route 59 (original route) running between Rangsit and Sanam Luang, effective May 28, 2025.
The statement emphasized that the restructured Route 59 lines (1–8) will continue to operate as usual to facilitate connectivity and ensure convenience and safety for passengers.
