At 10:30 a.m. on May 20, 2025, at the At Work Zone, 3rd Floor, CentralWorld Offices, Phimuk Simaroj, Secretary to the Bangkok Governor, announced the city’s preparations for Thailand’s Pride Celebration 2025, set to take place from May 30 to June 1 on Rama 1 Road.

Phimuk stated that this event is part of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s (BMA) "12 Festivals Year-Round" campaign aimed at stimulating the economy and tourism. June is designated as Pride Month, and the celebration will amplify voices advocating for LGBTQIAN+ equality and inclusivity in all aspects of Thai society.

He emphasized Bangkok's vision to become a city for all, recognizing differences not just in gender, but also in thought, lifestyle, and perspective. The Bangkok Pride Festival 2025 reflects this commitment.

BMA's support includes:

  1. Providing public spaces for activities hosted by government and private partners.
  2. Ensuring public safety and traffic management, with coordination among police, CCTV checks, and public transport adjustments.
  3. Environmental support including cleaning crews and waste separation campaigns.
  4. Medical services including ambulances and first aid teams.
  5. Musical performances as part of the festival.
  6. Broad public promotion through BMA media channels.
  7. Participation of city executives and staff in the Pride Parade under the BMA banner.

Central Pattana (CPN), CentralWorld, and Central Malls nationwide will join in the celebration, aiming to position Thailand as a top global Pride destination and support its bid to host World Pride 2030. The campaign also reinforces CPN’s commitment to human rights, equality, and LGBTQIAN+ inclusion.

Festival highlights include:

  • Fashion shows
  • Live music and dance performances
  • “Beyond Rainbow” exhibitions
