The Pink Line Monorail extension into Muang Thong Thani is now over 97% complete and will offer free trial rides from May 20 to June 16, 2025. This precedes the full official launch scheduled for July 19, 2025, with fares ranging from 15–22 baht. The line will join the government’s 20-baht fare cap scheme in September 2025.

According to the official Pink Line Facebook page, service during the trial period will run as follows:

  • Weekdays: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Weekends & Holidays: 6:00 AM – 11:30 PM
  • Trains will run every 10 minutes.

As of April 2025, overall project completion for the Si Rat–Muang Thong Thani section was at 97.81%, with civil works at 97.01% and rail systems at 99.41%.

This extension connects to the main Pink Line route (Khae Rai–Min Buri) via the Muang Thong Thani Station (PK10), which features three platforms:

  • Platform 1: to Government Complex Station (PK01)
  • Platform 2: to Min Buri Station (PK30)
  • Platform 3: to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Station (MT01)

A skywalk connecting the IMPACT Station (MT01) to the Challenger Hall will provide added convenience for event-goers attending expos, concerts, or other events at IMPACT Arena.
